FTX developments & SBF released on $250M bail

The story of the FTX and SBF continues with SBF posting a $250M bail on Thursday. Here's the latest developments

• Sam Bankman Fried appeared in court on Monday after deciding to not fight extradition to the US, but his council was unaware of the decision.

• FTX's new executive team identified more than $1B in cash in US financial institutions as part of the ongoing efforts to identify all crypto assets.

• On Tuesday, SBF agreed to extradition and flew back to the US the next day to face charges of fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy in US court.

• The NY Times reported that Caroline and Gary Wang are cooperating in the investigation pleading guilty of fraud charges, in addition to civil complaints from the SEC and CTFC.

• SBF was released on $250M bail in the form of a bond secured by equity in his parents' house, among other agreements, with a hearing set for January 2023.

• On Thursday, SBF was spotted at JFK airport in the American Airlines Business lounge on the way back to his parents house in Palo Alto, California.

Nat Geo Photography is launching its debut NFT collection called Daybreak Around the World in January of 2023, featuring 16 prominent photographers.

Women & Weapons introduced Nova, a 3D animated digital influencer that marks the first step of Sara Baumann's dream of bringing the characters to life.

Amazon launched a new documentary series called NFTMe, highlighting the culture of NFTs in an easy to understand way.

Visa teased auto payments for self custodial wallets and aims to actively contribute to crypto development.

Meebits, in collaboration with WarpSound, announced the release of 13 never-heard-before songs and a free NFT for Meebit holders.
