Metaverse Miami

Welcome Party

The first night of Metaverse Miami was a packed welcome party at the Eden Roc with tons of amazing conversation and vibes. We even ran into Nick & Pio, hosts of the Nifty Morning Show and their new series, Tub Talk.

Keith's IRL Twitter Space

A 45 minute panel featuring Farokh, Jake Sally, and Keith Grossman turned into an amazing 2.5 hour conversation about Metaverse applications and media in Web3, in addition to hearing from artists like Parin, Jimena, and Andre about their journeys' and art.

At the very beginning of the panel, Keith said "We're going to run this like a Twitter space", which are usually hours long and range from topical content, entertaining banter, and uplifting artists and people who are doing amazing things in this space.

Deadfellaz & Adam Bomb Squad Party

Right down the road from the Eden Roc, Adam Bomb Squad, Deadfellaz and Coinbase hosted one of the best parties with a club style dance floor, bowling alley, and an ice skating rink where the beloved Tal Navarro showed off her skills.

TIMEPieces Gallery

Ryan stopped by the TIMEPieces gallery that featured two different sections; one for TIMEPieces artists, and a second section for curated artists such as Sara Boychuk, Jenna Dixon, Sarah Lyndsay, and so many more. I also got to meet a lot of the artists who were featured in the gallery, several of whom I'm a proud collector.

Drift's Solo Exhibition

I also went to Drift's Solo Exhibition where Drift released a never before seen photo called "Duality" from his climb in Norway on the 17th longest suspension bridge in the world and gave a 5 minute summary describing the piece and adventure.

"I like that my work makes people ask questions. My work does involve in trespassing, I admit that to people - I go to these places, I take my photos, and leave. I think it's harmless and I think it's good that it makes you ask questions about what is and isn't legal or moral."

Project Basel

After more than 4 months of working silently behind the scenes, we revealed Project Basel!

At the NFT NOW Gateway event, we announced that we’re releasing the Rug Radio PFP collection in collaboration with Cory Van Lew. The target mint date is going to be in early Q1 of 2023 and will be a claim for all Genesis NFT holders, but we're interested in hearing the community's feedback about the mint process. If you'd like to give us your ideas, let us know in the Discord.

Huge shoutout to Matt Medved and the entire nft now team for the opportunity to make our announcement at the event and all of the incredible panels and activations that they hosted including the fireside chat with GaryVee and Porsche activation.
