New Team Members🎉

Quinn, VP of Operations

Since getting her PhD at Oklahoma State Unversity and working with enterprise level brands to help them enter web3, Quinn’s focus has been on consumer behavior research and abstracting blockchain technology away from the consumer experience.

Goal: Dive into on-chain analytics to understand community behavior and help creators grow in an thoughtful and organic way while rewarding their supporters.

Ev has been a long time host for Rug Radio France, and has joined to help with operational tasks using her experience from organizing 5-star sports competitions to festivals with over 5,000 attendees.

Vibes in Seoul🇰🇷

Are you ready for the next Rug Radio event? We’ll be Seoul, South Korea for Korea Blockchain Week on September 7th from 6 - 10pm local time at the People the Terrace with Yuga Labs!

DAO Platform & Updates🏛️

DAO Platform

As the 3rd product from our tech roadmap, we now have our own DAO platform where $RDAO holders can vote on new proposals! This is the initial MVP launch; Future releases will include a discussion board, proposal submissions, and more to simplify involvement within the DAO.

RugDAO Platform

The RugDAO platform gives $RDAO holders a single hub to vote, submit, and discuss proposals.

New Proposals

  • Revised DAO council governance framework: This framework governs how the DAO council operates, responsibilities, and other fundamental aspects.

  • Prop House Renewal: The renewal of the Prop House sets the formation of a committee, increases the budget to 5.5 ETH, and establishes a commitment to one funding round per month.

New initiatives

  • Monthly: Council & community Discord voice calls on the 1st Thursday of every month to hear ideas, brainstorm, and move forward with proposals.

  • Every Friday: Information and educational Twitter Spaces hosted by the DAO council to talk about what the RugDAO is working on and the current state of DAOs.

  • DAO Expansion: After passing a previous proposal, this initiative allocates DAO tokens to active members of the community who don’t currently hold one, but want to get involved.

  • DAO holder journey: A series of interviews with DAO holders to learn about their journey in web3 and into Rug Radio to help increase engagement and grow the DAO.

 

The next Town Hall will take place in late September where we’ll highlight our new long range plan, 6 month financial report, and lots more!
