gm! As we wrap up a busy year for Rug Radio and the web3 space as a whole, we thought we would recap some of our highlights and accomplishments this past year.

Rug Radio voted "Best in Media" at NFT Now 100

Every milestone brings reflections on how surreal the last months have been and I wanted to also thank you all for these achievements during NFT NYC. Rug Radio was voted "Best NFT Media" while I made the NFT NOW 100. Grateful everyday to do what I love with people I love. 🫂❤️

Hosted several IRL events worldwide

March: We hosted an event with a curated selection of speakers during SXSW in Austin
June: We hosted an event during NFT NYC & artist gallery that also lives on our website
October: Farokh and Mike spoke at Camp Decrypt in October
November & December: Art Basel where we announced our PFP drop in collaboration with Cory Van Lew
December: Farokh, Mando, & OSF were at Ledg3r Open in Paris

RugDAO

February - April: Launched the RugDAO, Learn-2-Earn, as well as $RUG and $RDAO tokens
April: Announced the 33 member community-elected DAO Council
July: The community voted to approve the 7 governance frameworks
September: The 6 month budget proposal was approved
November: The RugDAO Operational Council proposal passed
December: Voting framework amendment passed to reduce quorum limits and allow the DAO to pass proposals more efficiently

The vote PASSED to amend our voting framework! 2023 better watch out because we are coming for it!
This is going to be huge! So stoked for what our incredible DAO community will be building in the coming year.

Built a network of 30+ creators and shows
Hosted important conversations such as the OpenSea royalties conversation that contributed to OpenSea reversing their decision
Hosted companies such as Nike, Givenchy, and Lacoste as they made their way into Web3
Hosted high profile guests such as Joe Lubin, Beeple, and more on GM WEB3

Launching the Rug Store that allows for anyone to purchase items with $RUG
Elevating and onboarding more creators
Building out our brand and content in audio, written, and video formats
Generating multiple recurring revenue streams for the DAO
