Rug Radio Creator Portal

After a week of cryptic tweets, we revealed what they were hinting at…the Rug Radio Creator Portal, our first piece of proprietary tech as part of our tech roadmap.

In the past, everything related to creators has been done manually which was creating a lot of overhead. The launch of the portal will allows us to automate many of these processes, scale the entire ecosystem, and enhance the creator experience through a suite of tools and resources.

The initial suite of tools includes:

• Show dashboard

• Audio transcription and retrieval

• AI chat and image generators

• Simplified stats tracking

• Content and business guides

• Production support

By launching these tools, we estimate that we can save creators a minimum of $800/year on tooling and resource expenses. It also establishes the foundation for our core content app, which we plan to launch later this year.

Additionally, future monetization opportunities will not only allow creators to monetize their business and grow a sustainable career, but also generate revenue for the DAO.

During this initial launch period, the portal will only be available to current Rug Radio creators with plans to expand access to creators among the broader ecosystem. If you’re interested in securing a spot on the waitlist, head over to the portal.

Announcing our new gaming vertical

We’ll be bringing on Soby and ThreadGuy as creators to lead our new gaming vertical and enhance our coverage of web3 gaming with our flagship show, Level Up.

The show will feature interviews with founders and game testing, providing our audience with comprehensive news and insights on the latest in gaming.

Tentatively, the show will be hosted every Thursday with the time still set to be announced!

Meet Kram, our newest team member

Kram (Mark) is an engineering student who has drifted into web3, and has joined the team to help with content scheduling and production, having been inspired by Rug Radio as a platform for both creators and consumers.

Rug Roast w/ Farokh & Loxley

Rug Roast is one our newest shows hosted by our very own Community and Collabs Manager, berndawgler. Each episode, he hosts project founders and asks them the hard-hitting questions about how they plan to build a sustainable business through their project.

In the latest episode, he sat down with Farokh and Loxley to talk about the vision of Rug Radio and how we plan to realize that vision.
